What is the right age for a mundan ceremony?

Most families hold the mundan in the child's first, third or fifth year. The exact date and time are usually chosen with the family priest as an auspicious muhurat.

Can you decorate for a mundan ceremony at home?

Yes. All our mundan packages are designed for homes and work on a living room wall, terrace, lawn or a small banquet hall. Our decorators bring every item and set it up at your address.

How much does mundan decoration cost?

Our mundan packages currently range from ₹2,999 to ₹9,999, depending on the design. Prices can vary slightly by city, and add-ons such as cakes or flowers are charged separately.

Can I add the baby's name to the decoration?

Yes. Many of our mundan packages include a customised flex. Share the baby's name and the message you want after booking, and we will print it for your setup.

Do you provide the priest, puja items or barber for the mundan?

No. BalloonDekor provides the decoration only. The priest, puja samagri and barber are arranged by the family.

Are the balloons filled with helium?

No. Our mundan balloons are air filled and fixed on stands, rings, arches and backdrops. Helium is not included in these packages.

When will the decorator arrive?

The decorator arrives within the time slot you choose while booking. Pick a slot that leaves enough time for the setup to be ready before the ritual begins.

How do I book mundan decoration?

Choose a package, select your city, date and time slot, add any extras and confirm your booking online. Our team will contact you on call or WhatsApp to confirm the details.

Delivery & setupHow your celebration comes together

Our balloon expert will come to your home at your chosen slot, and set up the balloons as shown in the images.
Please note that our decorator can wait for a maximum of 30 minutes at the location. If entry is delayed beyond this time due to any reason (including security clearance, customer unavailability, or venue restrictions), the decorator may leave the location.
You'll need to provide a stool to reach the ceiling.
We can decorate a hotel room if you gain permission from the hotel.
If case of a complaint, notice must be given within 2 hours of the delivery time of the experience.
No rescheduling or cancellation is possible after the decoration has been attempted.

Care & handlingKeep your décor looking its best

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep the balloons away from direct sunlight or excessive heat to prevent them from popping or deflating.
Indoor Placement Preferred: For longer-lasting decoration, place the balloons indoors in a cool and dry environment.
Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep balloons away from sharp objects, rough surfaces, and pets to prevent accidental popping.
Supervise Children: Balloons can be a choking hazard; keep an eye on young children around the decoration.
Longevity: Latex balloons typically last 8–12 hours when air-filled . We use paper tape for decoration which don’t damage wall if removed within 24 hours. (We don’t use helium balloons )
Handle with Care: While moving or rearranging decorations, handle the balloons gently to avoid damage.
Except Balloons everything is on rental basis (stand , neon light, table etc) the very next day it will be taken back.
