Car Boot Decoration

Car Boot Decoration - Surprise Car Dikki Decoration Across India from ₹1,299

Some surprises are predictable. A cake at home. Flowers at the door. Dinner at a restaurant.

A car boot decoration is not predictable. Your partner, friend, or parent walks to the car expecting nothing. They open the boot - and find balloons, fairy lights, rose petals, foil letters, and a setup that makes it immediately clear that someone put real thought into this moment.

That look on their face - the genuine surprise, the smile, the "you actually did this" - is something no restaurant booking or wrapped gift produces. It is private, personal, and completely unexpected. Which is exactly why car boot decoration, also called car dikki decoration or car trunk decoration, has become one of the fastest growing surprise services in India.

BalloonDekor's car boot decoration service is simple to book and fully managed. A verified decorator comes to your car's location - your home parking, office parking, or any parking area you choose - sets up the complete decoration inside the boot, and leaves well before the surprise moment. You do not bring the car anywhere. The decorator comes to you.

Packages start from ₹1,299. Same-day service available in most cities. 72 cities across India.

What Car Boot Decoration Includes

A standard car boot decoration setup includes balloons in your chosen colour scheme, fairy lights inside the boot, foil letter or number balloons, a Happy Birthday or occasion-specific banner, and rose petals scattered across the boot floor. The combination creates an immediate visual impact the moment the boot opens - colourful, lit up, and completely unexpected.

Premium setups add personalised name foils, LED message boards, fresh flower arrangements, photo collages, confetti balloons, and customised props based on the occasion and the person being surprised.

The decorator brings every material. Setup takes 30 to 45 minutes. The boot is ready and closed before the surprise moment - all you need to do is get your person to the car.

Car Boot Decoration for Every Occasion

Car dikki decoration works for far more occasions than just birthdays. Here is how different celebrations use the setup.

Birthday car boot decoration is the most booked. Multicolour balloons, number foils for the age, a Happy Birthday banner, fairy lights, and rose petals - the boot turns into a private birthday celebration the moment it opens. Works beautifully as a midnight surprise, an after-dinner reveal, or a morning send-off before someone starts their birthday.

Anniversary car boot decoration uses a romantic colour scheme - red, white, rose gold - with heart foil balloons, an anniversary message in foil letters, fairy lights, and rose petals. It is one of the most intimate anniversary surprises possible because the moment happens in private, just between the two of you.

Proposal car boot decoration is one of the most consistently effective ways to propose in India. You drive to a spot, ask your partner to check something in the boot, they open it and find balloons, fairy lights, rose petals, and a "Will You Marry Me" foil arrangement. You are standing there with the ring. No crowd, no awkward audience, no pressure. Just the two of you and the moment.

Car boot decoration also works for Valentine's Day surprises, welcome baby celebrations, farewell surprises, and spontaneous gestures with no particular occasion - just because you wanted to make someone smile.

How Car Boot Decoration Works - Step by Step

Booking is simple and the logistics are easier than most people expect.

Choose your decoration package on the website, select your city and time slot, and confirm the booking. Share the car's parking location - the building name, parking level, or specific area - along with any access details the decorator needs. If your building restricts entry for outsiders, mention it in the booking and the team coordinates entry in advance.

The decorator arrives at the scheduled time, sets up the complete decoration inside the boot in 30 to 45 minutes, confirms with you when done, and leaves. The boot stays closed until the surprise moment. You bring your person to the car, they open the boot, and the moment happens exactly as you planned it.

One practical tip - park the car somewhere the birthday person or your partner is unlikely to go independently during the setup window. A bit of coordination on your end makes the surprise completely seamless.
