Cancellation & Refund Policy

At BalloonDekor, every decoration is carefully planned and customized for your celebration. Once a booking is confirmed, we immediately begin reserving decorators, balloons, props, personalized materials, and time slots to ensure timely execution. As many of our products and services involve advance preparation and limited scheduling capacity, our cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our team.
Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel their booking by contacting our support team before the scheduled event date. The applicable cancellation charges are based on the time remaining before the event.
More than 7 days before the event: No cancellation charges. A full refund will be processed, subject to any applicable payment gateway or transaction charges.
3 to 7 days before the event: A flat cancellation charge of ₹500 will apply.
24 to 72 hours before the event: A cancellation fee of ₹1,000 or 50% of the booking value, whichever is lower, will be deducted.
Less than 24 hours before the event: No refund will be applicable, as materials, decorators, and logistics are already assigned for your booking.
Any refund approved under this policy will be processed to the original payment method. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment service provider.
Special Occasion Bookings
Certain dates experience exceptionally high demand, and decorators, inventory, and logistics are reserved well in advance. Therefore, bookings made for these occasions are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Valentine's Day (13th & 14th February)
Christmas
New Year's Eve
New Year's Day
Mother's Day
Father's Day
Raksha Bandhan
Diwali
Eid
Other festive or special event dates announced by BalloonDekor
Weather & Force Majeure
While we make every effort to complete every booking as scheduled, certain situations may be beyond our reasonable control. These include severe weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, road closures, public emergencies, or other force majeure events.
In such circumstances, BalloonDekor will make reasonable efforts to offer a suitable rescheduling option based on availability. Refunds may not be applicable where services are affected due to circumstances beyond our control.
Customer Delay or Venue Issues
Our decorator will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes from the scheduled reporting time.
If the decoration cannot begin because of reasons attributable to the customer, including but not limited to:
Customer not being available at the venue
Venue access restrictions or permission issues
Incorrect address or contact details
Delay in providing entry or setup access
Any other customer-side delay preventing execution
the booking will be considered as Decoration Attempted. In such cases, the booking will be treated as completed for operational purposes, and no refund, cancellation, or rescheduling request will be entertained.
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans may change, and we will always try our best to accommodate rescheduling requests whenever possible.
More than 24 hours before the event: Rescheduling is available at no additional charge, subject to decorator and slot availability.
Less than 24 hours before the event: Rescheduling requests will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and are subject to management approval and availability.
Special occasion bookings: Rescheduling is not permitted for bookings made on peak festive or special event dates.
Any change in decoration package, event location, event timing, or city during rescheduling may result in additional charges, depending on the revised requirements and availability.
Cakes, Flowers & Personalized Products
Cakes, flowers, chocolates, customized products, printed materials, and other perishable or personalized items are prepared specifically for each order. Once preparation has started, these items cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged, or rescheduled.
Same-day cancellation requests for such products will not be accepted.
Important Notes
BalloonDekor reserves the right to refuse cancellation or rescheduling requests that do not comply with this policy.
Refunds, where applicable, will only be processed after verification and approval by our support team.
Any promotional discounts, coupon benefits, convenience charges, or payment gateway fees may not be refundable.
BalloonDekor reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The policy applicable at the time of booking will govern that particular order.
